Summer Reading Program

Our Saturday programs for Summer Reading are as follows: (all begin at 10:30 am)

June 7^th –Summer Reading “Color Our World” kickoff—bags and packets will be handed out and we will explain all of the challenges, take the reading pledges, give name tags, read a story or two and the kids will be able to decorate a mural that will hang on our circulation desk for the remainder of the summer reading program.

June 14^th –Aunt Amy’s Balloon Party! Aunt Amy will be here to twist balloons for the kids.

June 21^st – Jessie Stewart of the University of Missouri Extension Office will be here to teach a fun and colorful nutrition lesson for the kids.

June 28^th –James and Katie Dockery of the Outdoor Skills of America will be here with geodes for the kids to crack open and learn all about.
