How to get a Library Card

You can sign up for a library card in person at the library.

For adults (18 years or older) bring your driver's license or a proof of address to show you live in the county (i.e. utility bill or piece of mail).

Minors (age 6-17 years) can be signed up for a library card by a parent or parental guardian in the library. Parent or guardian must present a photo ID or proof of residence (same as signing up for an adult card).

*Please note: P.O. Boxes are not accepted and proof of residence will need to be provided.

*10 items are able to be checked out per card

All residents of Schuyler County are able to obtain a card for free. Out of county residents can obtain one for $25.00/year.

Lost cards

If lost the cost of a second card is $5.00 and can be picked up in the library.

Card renewal

Card renewal can be done in the library as well, just ask a library gal!
